Coaches of the twelve participating teams at the official Press Conference in Cairo of the 2017 FIVB Men's U23 World Championship.
Cairo, Egypt, August 17, 2017 - All twelve coaches of the participating teams faced the media Thursday afternoon here, to set the pace for the 2017 FIVB Men's U23 World Championship which begin in two halls of Cairo National Stadium on Friday.
The competition will feature the testing of a new scoring system with matches played to best-of-seven sets of 15 points, as well as the introduction of a serving change which disallows the server landing on the court.

"We are very happy to play in this Championship. We will do our best to reach the second round. The event is an excellent chance to get in contact with other strong opponents and gain experience."Camilo Soto (Argentina):
"We have a hard tournament ahead, facing new teams and new regulations but on the other hand we are a very good team and we have high hopes so we will do our best."Giovane Gavio (Brazil):
"We are very happy to be here in this great country with fantastic people. We do have a lot of pressure on us as we are the winners of the first edition and we need to repeat it. We expect a good place for Brazil. It is my first World Championship as a coach and I think we have a good opportunity to learn and change.
