Semifinals schedule set at Men's U23 Worlds

Cairo, Egypt, August 23, 2017 - Undefeated Brazil meet defending champions Russia and Argentina take on Cuba in the semifinals of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship here on Thursday, but the day's schedule has been modified after Egypt beat Poland 4-1 on Wednesday to advance for positions 5-8.

Thursday's schedule is now as follows (all times local, GMT+2):

15:00 Iran v Japan in Hall 2 (positions 5-8)
15:00 Brazil v Russia in Hall 1 (semifinal)
17:30 Argentina v Cuba in Hall 1 (semifinal)
20:00 Egypt v China in Hall 1 (positions 5-8)

All matches in Cairo are played under a new scoring system currently being tested: a best-of-seven, 15-point set format.
