Iran set up full power for Men's U23

 

Iran ready for the World U23 Championship

  Cairo, Egypt, August 17, 2017- Iran showed maximum power in their final preparation sessions ahead of the 2017 FIVB Men's U23 World championship to start in Cairo, Egypt on Friday. 

 Iran arrived early to Egypt to play friendly matches in Cairo Stadium complex against Algeria and Japan where the coach Juan Manuel Cichello reached the maximum power for his squad. 

 Iran beat Algeria in their first friendly match in straight sets 4-0 according to the new regulations of playing best of seven sets instead best of 5, with each set composed of 15 points. 

 They won also the second friendly match 4-2 against their continental arch rivals Japan. 

 Cichello takes over the national Volleyball U23 Men’s team of Iran in 2017 and soon after as the Asian champion succeeded to earn the berth for the world championship in Egypt.
  
 He started his coaching career with Argentina senior National team in 2008. 

 Iran will battle it out against Algeria, Argentina, China, Russia and turkey in Pool B of the World championship and considered heavy contenders for the title.
