Algeria warm up for Men's U23 World championship

 

Algeria in their friendly match against Egypt

  Cairo, Egypt, August 16, 2017- Algeria Men's U23 Volleyball team started the final preparation for the 2017 Men's U23 World championship due to start at Cairo Stadium Complex in Egypt on Friday.

 Algeria played 2 friendly matches on site ahead of the competition opening where they lost in straight sets against Iran before they lost on Wednesday another friendly against North African neighbours 4-1. 

 The Algerian team led by the head coach Salim Bouhalla passed a training camp in their homelands before they came to Egypt to participate at the World Championship of this age category for the first time.

 Algeria qualified to the prestigious event as African champions and were drawn in Pool B along with Turkey, Russia, Argentina, Iran and China. The African Champions will open the competition against the defending champions Russia on Friday.
