Algeria defeated Mauritius in the African U23 Championship
Algiers, Algeria, February 22, 2017- Algeria overwhelmed Mauritius for the second time 3-0 (25-7, 25-16, 25-16) in the playoff of the Men’s U23 African Nations Championship held at Algiers, Algeria on Wednesday.
With their victory, the Algeria team have clinched a ticket to the FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship which will be organised by Egypt from August 18 to 25.
Algeria defeated Mauritius in the first match 3-0 (25-14, 25-8, 25-10) to lead the best-of-3 playoff.
